*Every bathroom starts with a design phase that ends in a fixed-price proposal. The number we agree on before construction is the number you pay unless you change the scope. Hallway and primary bathrooms have different ranges because primary bathrooms are typically larger and include more fixtures.

Waterproofing is one of the most important parts of building a bathroom that lasts. We use full waterproofing systems (Schluter, rated for steam showers) and test every shower prior to tile installation so the system is proven watertight. The work behind the walls gets the same care as the work you can see.
Most hallway bathrooms take two to four weeks, and most primary bathrooms take three to eight weeks or longer, depending on the scope. Rebuilds within the same layout move quickly; projects that involve expanding the room, relocating fixtures, or significant structural changes take more time. Our crew is on site Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., and the next phase is lined up before the current one finishes, so project progress stays consistent.
We plan for the kinds of things that come up in bathroom remodels during the design phase, and our fixed price includes contingency for the typical surprises we run into. If we open up a wall and find something more significant, like rotting subfloor, mold, or outdated plumbing that needs to be replaced, we walk you through the options and adjust the plan together. Every necessary change is discussed and documented before proceeding, so you won’t be surprised by additional charges once the work is complete.
You select every material for your bathroom during the design phase. You’ll see and feel physical samples of tile, finishes, hardware, and fixtures before anything is ordered, and we walk you through each selection together. The brands we work with most often, like Toto, Brizo, Schluter, and Cambria, are built to last. Nothing gets installed in your bathroom that you haven’t seen and signed off on.

The same team manages design and construction, creating a smoother, more cost-efficient process without the need to coordinate between separate companies. Once the design is finalized, your proposal outlines the full project cost, and that figure won’t change unless you authorize a change in scope.
D&D does not take on projects for flips or rental properties. We work with homeowners who see remodeling as a long-term investment in their home.
We believe the final 5% of a remodeling project matters most. Before your project is complete, we walk through the finished space with you, identify any remaining items, and fix them before the final invoice is paid.
